We are looking for experienced Forepersons to join our team for a reclamation and haul road construction project running throughout the winter.

The successful candidate will have a strong heavy civil background, hands-on experience operating heavy equipment, and the ability to lead a crew in a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise a crew of equipment operators
- Assist with planning and coordinating daily site activities
- Communicate project priorities, work plans, and safety expectations to crew members
- Promote and enforce Ledcor's safety culture, policies, and procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks, daily safety meetings, and site hazard assessments
- Complete daily reports, production tracking, and other required documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
- Must have reclamation experience (dump site setup, soil stripping, windowing and material stockpiling)
- Must have experience in haul road construction
- Must have experience operating equipment: haul trucks (777/785) , dozers (D6 to D10) and excavators (20-80T)
- Leadership training is highly preferred
- Ground Disturbance 201 certification
- Must have a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Must be available for day / night shifts
Work Conditions:
- 14 days on / 7 days off , working 12 hours per day
- Camp accommodation provided
