As the Infrastructure Investments Associate, you will be responsible for supporting multiple Ledcor groups in the pursuit of major infrastructure and P3 projects. Key responsibilities will include acting as an internal subject matter specialist in the identification, evaluation, and execution of infrastructure investment opportunities by conducting research and analysis to provide insights that drive business decisions, delivering complex financial models, and performing the deliverables associated with financing arrangements. You will lead existing equity investments in infrastructure projects, in addition to supporting financial modelling for Treasury / Corporate Finance related mandates on an as-needed basis.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes complex financial models to support valuation analyses in evaluating investment and new bid / contract opportunities (both P3 and non-P3 opportunities) such as maintenance contracts, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, and development opportunities within Ledcor operating groups
- Responsible for interpreting complex financial models and recommending solutions through conducting analyses to support equity investment propositions available to the organization
- Engages as an active member on project management and commercial/finance working teams for major infrastructure and P3 project pursuits.
- Advises in conjunction with the VP, Infrastructure Investments business leaders on new and existing investment opportunities.
- Participates in working groups during procurement period, including delivering the preparation of requests for qualifications, requests for proposal, and related bid documents as well as supporting in the financial close process
- Conducts comprehensive research and due diligence into the Public-Private-Partnership (P3) market and related opportunities, providing business unit leaders with competitive intelligence about upcoming projects
- Creates and maintains financial reporting, presentations, and other mechanisms to track existing and upcoming project pipeline for business leaders with major infrastructure and P3 projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a structured transactional environment in investment banking (ie. corporate finance, project finance, transaction advisory, etc.)
- Experience interpreting and developing complex financial models
- Experience of transacting on infrastructure or P3 projects either in a bid or disposal context is considered an asset
- Asset management experience preferred
- Mature understanding of equity investment and project financing principles
- Strong communication skills: proven ability to influence and persuade others, including team members and project stakeholders
- Collaborative and innovative team player, with experience coordinating complex teams and managing tight deadlines
Work Conditions:
- This is a hybrid position where you are expected to be in-office 3 times per week
Compensation
$92,800.00 - $127,600.00
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
