Original job description

What you'll bring to the team

LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Toronto Starting at $21.50/hour | Full-Time | Flexible Availability Required

Lead the Fun. Serve the Smiles. Create Amazing Memories.

At LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Toronto, we're all about imagination, creativity, and delivering unforgettable experiences to families every day. As part of Merlin Entertainments, our 31,000+ colleagues around the world help children and LEGO® fans build memories that last a lifetime.

Now we're looking for an energetic and people-focused Café Shift Supervisor to join our team and help bring the magic to life.

The ideal candidate has at least a 2-year food or server experience and will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends and holidays.

If you're a natural leader who loves working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid to jump in and help wherever needed, this could be the opportunity for you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Café Shift Supervisor, you'll lead a small team while helping ensure our café operations run smoothly and our guests receive exceptional service.

No two days are the same, but your responsibilities may include:

Leading, coaching, and motivating team members during shifts
Creating a welcoming, fun, and guest-focused environment
Supporting food and beverage operations throughout the day
Jumping in to assist during busy periods and peak guest times
Monitoring inventory levels and helping manage supplies
Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained
Supporting attraction-wide operations as a Manager on Duty
Recognizing team successes and helping build a positive team culture
Delivering memorable experiences for every guest who visits

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be actively engaged on the floor, supporting both your team and our guests.

This is what we do every day. Our 31,000+ awesome colleagues create and play together to spark the imaginations of children and LEGO® fans of all ages, all around the world. Just imagine being part of this – playing with ideas, creating magical experiences, and learning while growing and building your dream career.

Qualifications & Experience

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, leadership, and a passion for guest service.

You may be a great fit if you have:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak attraction periods

What We Can Teach. What You Need to Bring.

We can teach the café operations side.

What we're really looking for is someone with:

✅ Positive energy

✅ Confidence leading and supporting teams

✅ A guest-first mindset

✅ The ability to stay calm under pressure

✅ A passion for creating great experiences

Bonus Points If You Have

Café, food service, or food and beverage experience

Experience leading teams in high-volume guest environments
Manager on Duty or operational leadership experience
