Lemon.io helps companies in the US and Europe hire experienced engineers, from funded startups to teams like Klarna, Retool, and Pinterest. We’ve been doing this since 2015, and more than 1,500 companies have hired engineers through us.
Currently, we have a few open positions from our client, an AI-native cloud company. AI teams use its platform to run inference on open-source models, fine-tune them and rent large GPU clusters. The fleet is set to grow about 10×; the team won't. That's where you come in.
Requirements for Senior Network Operations Engineers
- 3+ years of commercial experience with Linux
- 3+ years of commercial experience with Networking
- Strong network troubleshooting skills (Kubernetes, data-center, BGP troubleshooting experience preferred)
- Experience operating cloud-scale networks (ideally at Apple, Google, Microsoft, or OCI; experience at scale is needed, but smaller scale is fine if the work was in AI environments)
- Experience supporting Cisco, Arista, or Juniper network equipment
- Strong Linux skills and hands-on troubleshooting: diagnostics and log analysis.
- Foundational/theoretical knowledge of InfiniBand and RoCEv2 (must understand what they are and how they work)
- Clear, concise communicator - able to write incident timelines, RCAs, and user-facing updates under time pressure

Responsibilities

Requirements
Candidates need at least three years of commercial experience with Linux and networking, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting Cisco, Arista, or Juniper equipment. They should have cloud-scale networking experience, foundational knowledge of InfiniBand and RoCEv2, and the ability to communicate clearly during incidents.
