Role Description This full-time, on-site Flexo Press Technician role is based in Laval, QC. The Flexo Press Technician operates and adjusts flexographic printing presses to meet production specifications, including machine setup, color matching, registration, and quality checks throughout the print run. Responsibilities include monitoring press performance, troubleshooting mechanical and printing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe operation of equipment. The role involves working closely with production, prepress, and quality teams to meet deadlines, minimize waste, and maintain consistent product quality. The technician also records production data, follows standard operating procedures, and contributes to continuous improvement in press efficiency and print quality.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess experience in flexographic press operation, including setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting of flexo printing equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in color matching, print quality inspection, and adherence to flexible packaging specifications and standards.
- Candidates should possess abilities in equipment maintenance, basic mechanical repair, and safe use of tools and machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading production orders, following technical instructions, and accurately documenting production data.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborate with production teams, and manage time effectively.
- Relevant experience in flexible packaging or printing manufacturing is an asset; vocational training or technical diploma in printing, industrial mechanics, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and follow all health and safety procedures is required; bilingualism (French/English) in a production environment is an advantage.
