Provide theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training in a dental setting using modern dental equipment.
Supervise students during clinical and laboratory activities, ensuring they develop the required practical competencies.
Guide and support students throughout their internships (stages) in dental care facilities.
Evaluate student performance, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to support learning and development.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports student success.
Demonstrate familiarity with and the ability to operate current dental equipment, instruments, and technology.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental products, procedures, treatments, and industry practices.
Stay informed about developments and advancements in the dental field to ensure instruction remains relevant and aligned with industry expectations.

Required Qualifications

A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Dental Assisting or a diploma or attestation of studies recognized as equivalent.
A minimum of five (5) years of clinical chairside dental assisting experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with current dental equipment, technology, and clinical procedures.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to deliver both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training in a dental laboratory setting.
