About the Role

Are you a motivated, people-oriented sales professional who enjoys talking to customers and helping a sales team succeed?

Let’s Roam is looking for an organized and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Sales Assistant to help our sales team connect with potential customers, schedule meetings, and follow up with leads. You’ll play an important role in making sure promising opportunities don’t slip through the cracks and our Account Executives can focus on building relationships and closing deals.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is confident communicating over the phone, and takes pride in staying organized and following through.

What You’ll Do

  1. Connect with Potential Customers
  • Respond quickly to new inquiries and help qualified prospects schedule meetings with our sales team.
  • Follow up with leads who have shown interest but haven’t booked a meeting yet.
  • Reach out to customers who have not responded to emails or whose contact information needs updating.
  • Help verify inquiries and appointments to make sure our sales team is spending time with the right prospects.
  1. Recover Missed Meetings
  • Follow up with customers who miss, cancel, or postpone scheduled meetings.
  • Help customers find a new time that works and book meetings directly on the sales team’s calendars.
  • Understand and document why meetings were missed or cancelled so we can improve our process.
  1. Handle Incoming Calls and Confirm Appointments
  • Contact customers before their scheduled meetings to confirm attendance.
  • Answer incoming calls from corporate customers and people interested in our services.
  • Answer basic questions, direct customers to the right person, and make sure important requests are followed up on.
  • Schedule qualified prospects with the appropriate Account Executive.
  • Keep customer information, meeting details, and follow-up notes accurate and up to date in our CRM.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, sales development, appointment setting, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience using HubSpot or another CRM to manage contacts, meetings, tasks, and follow-ups.
  • Excellent spoken English and confidence communicating with customers over the phone.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to write clear, professional emails and messages.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of calls each day, potentially 100 or more.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a willingness to follow up consistently.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Previous experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR).
  • Experience making video calls with customers.
  • Familiarity with sales follow-up processes and CRM tools.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Responsive: You act quickly and understand that timely follow-ups can make a difference.
  • Persistent: You’re comfortable following up without being pushy and know how to re-engage interested customers.
  • Customer-focused: You communicate positively and make customers feel heard and supported.
  • Organized: You keep records accurate and ensure important details never get lost.
  • Goal-driven: You enjoy working toward daily and weekly targets and take ownership of your results.
  • Adaptable: You’re comfortable learning new processes, receiving feedback, and working in a growing startup environment.
  • Team-oriented: You enjoy helping others succeed and understand that your work directly supports the broader sales team.
