LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract opportunity with its Ottawa-based customer.
Work Location
The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 12 days per month on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON. Fully remote work is not permitted.

Key Tasks
- Lead project planning, execution and delivery across multiple workstreams
- Develop, maintain and evolve integrated project plans, schedules and delivery roadmaps
- Coordinate activities across policy, business, operations and technology teams
- Work closely with the IT Program Lead throughout technology planning, solution selection, implementation and transition to operational support
- Identify, assess, monitor and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and interdependencies
- Develop project reporting, performance indicators and escalation mechanisms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leadership
- Provide regular project status updates and communicate progress, risks and delivery considerations
- Facilitate workshops, meetings and discussions to drive consensus and resolve issues
- Ensure project deliverables, documentation and processes are completed
- Support go-live readiness and implementation handoffs
- Perform other related project management activities as required
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience contributing to large, complex, multi-year projects involving 40+ project team members
- PMP certification with 4+ years of recent project management experience supporting complex business and technology initiatives
- 5+ years of experience delivering strategic projects using Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies
Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Analysis or a related discipline
- Strong experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies and interdependencies
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing integrated project plans, schedules and delivery roadmaps across multiple workstreams
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both senior leadership and technical audiences
- Proven experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Experience supporting or participating in Microsoft Azure technology implementation projects
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and based in Canada
- Must be eligible to obtain Reliability Status
- Must be available to work onsite in Ottawa 12 days per month
