.Net Developer

We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of full-time .Net Developer who will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing and developing end-to-end software solutions, maintaining existing codebases, and contributing to the long-term direction of IT development initiatives. The hours will typically be in the office Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Base salary: $70,000 - $85,000 / year

Location: 400 Highway 6 N, Dundas, ON L9H 7K4

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Gathering and Analyzing requirements needed to solve specific business problems
• Design, develop, and document solutions from start to finish, independently or within a team
• Assist in the maintenance, support, and updating of our existing codebases
• Research and learn new technology and tools in software development on an ongoing basis
• Provide input in the overall long-term direction of IT development initiatives

Key Skill Requirements:

• Self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize work effectively while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Ability to gather and interpret user requirements
• Attention to detail

Key Experience/Education:

• 3-5 years of experience in a software focused role is required (co-op experience will be considered)
• University degree or College diploma in a Software focused program is required
• Experience with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, MVC, CSS, C# is required
• Experience with MS Blazor technology is preferred
• Experience with MS SQL is an asset
• Experience with Azure Devops, GIT is an asset (pipelines, work tracking, and deployments)
