Software Engineering

We are currently seeking a full-time Software Engineering to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and ongoing improvement of software solutions. Reporting to the Senior Software Developer, this role will develop innovative, reliable, and user-focused applications from concept through implementation and ongoing support. The hours will typically be in the office Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Base salary: $65,000 - $85,000 / year

Location: 45 Innovation Dr, Hamilton, ON L9H 7L8

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Develop Windows desktop software that interfaces with industrial equipment
• Work directly with customers to define requirements, train and support end users.
• Communicate ideas effectively with other developers during planning sessions and code reviews.
• Design, develop, test, debug and document software solutions from start to finish.
• Assist in the maintenance, support, and updating of our existing codebases.
• Research and learn new technology and tools in software development on an ongoing basis.

Key Experience/Education:

• Bachelor in Software Engineering is required
• Required: Experience with C#, .NET Framework, WinForms, and Visual Studio
• Knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles is required
• Experience with WPF, including migrating WinForms applications to WPF
• Experience with multithreaded architecture is an asset
• Awareness of ISO 9001
