About Life Ashore

Life Ashore is a growing company based in the Greater Toronto Area, dedicated to helping individuals, families, and newcomers navigate important life and financial decisions in Canada.

As we continue to grow, we are expanding our range of services to provide clients with more comprehensive support under one trusted company. Our services span immigration, real estate, mortgages, and financial services, allowing clients to access guidance across multiple areas as they build and establish their lives in Canada.

We are a small, ambitious team focused on building strong client relationships, delivering personalized service, and creating a seamless experience across our growing portfolio of services.

About the Role

We are looking for a personable, ambitious and highly motivated Client Development Specialist to help us grow our client base and build relationships within the communities we serve. This is a people focused, sales and business development role for someone who enjoys meeting new people, starting conversations and turning opportunities into genuine client relationships. As a Client Development Specialist, you will be one of the first points of contact between Life Ashore and potential clients.

Your role will be to introduce people to Life Ashore, understand their needs, identify opportunities where our services may be needed, and meet sales targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills in sales, business development, client relationships, real estate, finance, immigration and entrepreneurship.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Client Development

Identify, build a database, and connect with potential Life Ashore clients through outbound calls, email, social media, networking and community outreach.
Generate new leads and help convert them into qualified consultations.
Follow up with prospective clients and existing leads.
Develop relationships with individuals, families, businesses and community organizations.
Be a friendly, professional and knowledgeable first point of contact for prospective clients.

Events & Community Outreach

Represent Life Ashore at exhibitions, conferences, community events, networking events and promotional booths.
Speak confidently with members of the public about Life Ashore and its services.
Help organize and promote Life Ashore events.
Attend company events and assist with presentations.

Sales Support

Schedule consultations and meetings with qualified prospects.
Track leads, appointments, follow-ups and conversions.
Work toward agreed monthly lead-generation and client-acquisition targets.
Contribute ideas for improving Life Ashore's client acquisition process.
Admin support with processing client applications.

Learning & Development

You will be expected to develop a strong working knowledge of Life Ashore's services, including:

Canadian immigration services
Real estate
Mortgages
Financial planning and related financial services

What We're Looking For

Naturally outgoing and comfortable talking to new people.
Friendly, personable and easy to build rapport with.
Confident in speaking on the phone and in person.
Comfortable with cold calling.
Motivated by achieving targets and earning commission.
Curious and willing to learn about immigration, real estate, mortgages and financial services.
Comfortable representing a company at public events.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Comfortable using email, phone, video calls and basic CRM/spreadsheet tools.
Interested in developing a career in sales, business development, financial services, real estate, immigration or entrepreneurship.
A drivers licence and access to a car is preferred.
Previous experience in sales, customer service, real estate, banking, financial services, immigration, events, community outreach or business development is an asset but not required.
