Maintain configuration baselines, version control, and change management documentation.

Security Operations Support & Threat Mitigation

Support daily security operations by addressing escalations from analysts and engineering teams.
Conduct detailed analysis of alerts and events involving tool telemetry, misconfigurations, or anomalies.
Assist with containment, remediation, and eradication activities during security incidents.
Develop and refine detection logic, dashboards, and alerting rules within assigned tools.
Collaborate with SOC and engineering teams to ensure tool outputs effectively support threat detection and response workflows.

Project Delivery & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Lead or support security technology projects including onboarding new tools, upgrades, migrations, integrations, or capability expansions.
Partner with infrastructure, cloud, network, and application teams to ensure security tool requirements are met during project delivery.
Provide subject matter expertise on network segmentation, endpoint protection, cloud security controls, and threat visibility.
Participate in technical reviews and provide recommendations based on best practices and threat landscape changes.

Documentation, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation including runbooks, configurations, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
Track and report on tool health, operational performance, and tuning outcomes.
Identify and implement opportunities for automation, simplification, and optimization across security operations.
Support audit and compliance activities through evidence gathering and validation of security controls.
