Front Desk Care Coordinator – Lifemark Physiotherapy Kamloops
Location: 164 Oriole Rd, Kamloops, BC V2C 4N7
Status: Part Time with potential for full time hours

The Care Coordinator is responsible for fostering a strong relationship between the clinic and its customers, including patients, staff, funders and referral sources. This is achieved by efficiently providing administrative support and coordinating clinic activity with friendly, enthusiastic and professional service with all patients, team members and external customers. The Care Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of patient intake, data entry, answering the phone, outbound calling, receiving faxes and emails, as well as invoicing and payments.

Primary Responsibilities

Deliver a professional front-desk experience by managing calls, greeting patients, and addressing inquiries
Coordinate accurate patient intake and maintain up-to-date records throughout treatment
Assist patients with completing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently
Collect payments at time of service and submit insurance claims to third-party funders
Perform data entry and billing in accordance with clinic procedures
Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, courier, and fax
Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director

Qualifications & Core Competencies

The ideal candidate will have:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration or related field is an asset
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite; previous experience with EMR/Case Management systems considered an asset
Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to changing priorities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Previous experience in a physiotherapy or multidisciplinary healthcare clinic is considered a strong asset
