The Opportunity:

We’re looking for IT Field Services Technician to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Field Operations you will be responsible for travelling within the Ottawa, Ontario region to provide IT Support to our clinics.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

The daily management of helpdesk tickets and level 2 support requests
Provide remote and onsite Tier 2 support for Windows and macOS devices, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, software, peripherals and network connectivity
Maintain documentation of support and infrastructure
Manage recommendation and obtain approvals for procurement of IT equipment and software
Setup and installation of new systems and IT equipment
Travel throughout Ottawa and Gatineau region

What we're looking for:

Superior customer service experience, technical support and IT field support is required
Bilingual proficiency in English and French with the ability to provide clear technical support in both languages is considered a strong asset.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Knowledge of mobile platforms
Some knowledge of Microsoft windows server platform
Knowledge of VoIP systems
Computer hardware repair (Windows/Mac)
Excellent time management skills
Strong problem solver and troubleshooting skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Work with different divisions understanding their needs
Set clear expectations and define key performance indicators for self
Work within a team environment providing insight when appropriate
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and MS Office
Hands-on experience supporting macOS devices in a business environment, including device setup, operating system and application troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, printing, peripherals and network connectivity
An understanding of network topologies and protocols (including firewalls, routers, switches, etc)
Understanding of remote management tools and techniques
Valid Drivers license and reliable vehicle

Responsibilities
