Original job description

Develop your potential. Make a difference.

Are you a passionate physiotherapist dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Canadians? At Lifemark, your work makes a real difference - expanding access to care and creating lasting impact in the communities you serve.

Location: Scarborough, ON

Schedule: 16 hours/week

About Lifemark

For over 26 years, Lifemark has been a trusted leader in rehabilitation across Canada, dedicated to helping Canadians live life well. With a national network of over 325 clinics and a team of 6,000 passionate professionals, we provide comprehensive care with a local touch. Our team of dedicated professionals, including physiotherapists, massage therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, mental health professionals and more, reflects the diverse communities we serve while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Lifemark is proud to be part of the Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw, where we are creating a connected, patient-first ecosystem that brings quality care to more Canadians, every day. Our vision is to create a future where interdisciplinary healthcare providers are part of a primary care ecosystem that makes it easier for Canadians to receive the treatments they need, when they need it.

Lifemark Seniors Wellness is one of the largest rehabilitation focused companies dedicated to providing therapy solutions for seniors. With over 30 years of experience, we are a preferred partner of more than 185 LTC homes, 55 retirement communities and 180+ seniors’ dwellings.

Your impact

As a Lifemark physiotherapist, you’ll be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, empowering individuals to overcome challenges, improve their mobility, and achieve their health goals. You'll be more than a care provider; you'll be an educator, motivator, and problem-solver, lifting people up, meeting people where they are in their health journeys, sharing knowledge, and delivering top-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will:

Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
Partner with therapy assistants and kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.

Are you the right fit?

We're seeking a compassionate clinician who leads with empathy and integrity. A great listener, a clear communicator, and someone who seeks to understand what motivates our patients to guide how to personalize a plan of care to meet their needs. Above all, you are driven to grow – both professionally and personally. Key skills and qualifications include:

Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
Professional liability insurance (as required).
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
1–2+ years of outpatient LTC experience (preferred; new grads with provisional licenses are encouraged to apply!).
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorization will be an asset
A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check (within 6 months)
Proof of Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux Test) clearance

Your Journey with Lifemark: What to Expect

We’re excited to meet professionals who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. Let’s shape the future of care - together. Here’s what you can expect from our recruitment process:

Step 1: Connect with Our Talent Acquisition Specialist: Your journey begins with a personalized phone conversation. You’ll learn about Lifemark’s vision for the future of healthcare in Canada, our core values, and the exciting opportunities that align with your interests. This is your chance to share what drives you - your Talent Advisor is here to guide you toward a path that fits your goals and aspirations.
Step 2: Meet Our Leadership: Next, you’ll have a video or in-person interview with a Staffing Manager Regional Director.
Step 3: Offer & Onboarding: Once a decision is made, we move quickly. You’ll receive a competitive offer and have the chance to ask questions and evaluate the opportunity. Our team typically moves in days - not weeks - so keep an eye on your inbox and voicemail (including your spam folder) for next steps.

Ready to make a difference?

Join Lifemark, where your compassion, drive, and clinical expertise results in the delivery of top-quality patient-centered care, empowering individuals and transforming lives.  Apply today!
