Lifting Solutions is a high-performing team that engineers, manufactures, distributes, sells, and services artificial lift products that outperform the market. The Opportunity:

The Junior Artificial Lift Systems Engineer/Engineering Technologist supports the Commercial & Application Support Team by assisting with artificial lift system design, application reviews, product performance analysis, troubleshooting support, and technical documentation. This is an entry-level development role intended for a recent engineering or technology graduate who is building practical knowledge of Lifting Solutions products, artificial lift applications, field operations, and client-focused technical support. The role works under the guidance of experienced engineers, technologists, and application specialists while gaining exposure to Engineering, Client Solutions, Regional Operations, and field service teams.

Responsibilities:

In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision and values, you will be responsible to:

Assist with application reviews, preliminary system designs, product selection, and technical support requests under the direction of senior team members.

Support the preparation of technical information, reports, summaries, training materials, and client-facing documentation.

Learn to use internal tools and third-party design software for reciprocating rod lift and progressing cavity pumping applications.

Compile, organize, and review product performance data, field information, inspection results, and troubleshooting notes to support technical analysis.

Participate in product testing, field trials, and new product development activities as assigned, including data collection and documentation.

Work collaboratively with Engineering, Client Solutions, Regional Operations, and service base personnel to understand artificial lift applications and client needs.

Assist with inspection report reviews, failure analysis documentation, and escalation of technical issues to senior application specialists or Engineering.

Support the use and continuous improvement of the Lifting Solutions Product Tracking System by entering data, reviewing trends, and preparing basic reports.

Develop knowledge of Lifting Solutions products, artificial lift systems, field operations, and common production challenges through hands-on learning and mentoring.

Participate in internal technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions to build competency in artificial lift applications and Lifting Solutions product lines.

Contribute to a client-focused Solutions Provider approach by providing timely, accurate, and professional support to internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, clients.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

Recent graduate from a Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical program.

Foundational understanding of engineering principles, production operations, artificial lift, or oilfield equipment is preferred.

Interest in rod lift, progressing cavity pumping systems, artificial lift applications, and oilfield production optimization.

Ability and willingness to learn technical design software, internal reporting tools, and product tracking systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills with attention to accuracy and detail.

Ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, and follow through on assigned tasks with appropriate guidance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical information clearly.

Collaborative, curious, and client-focused approach with a willingness to ask questions and learn from experienced team members.

Competent in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Previous co-op, internship, summer student, field, lab, or oilfield service experience is considered an asset but is not required.
