  • Sales Execution: Manage the complete sales cycle from initial qualification and value presentation through pricing negotiation and contract closure.

  • Customer Launch: Partner with Onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition and launch for merchants adopting Lightspeed Payments.

  • Internal Expertise: Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on payment processing for other units, providing guidance and training as required.

  • Product Feedback: Collect and relay merchant feedback regarding the payments product to the Product Management teams.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline status, and opportunity notes in Salesforce.com.

  • Other Duties: Handle additional duties and responsibilities as defined by management.

What you need to bring:

Candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

  • Payments Experience: Direct experience (3+ years) in the payment processing industry.

  • Sales Closing Role: Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a closing role focused on technology or solution sales.

  • Opportunity Development: Proven ability to proactively generate and qualify new opportunities.

  • Target Achievement: Documented history of success in a revenue target or quota-based environment.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French language skills are considered an asset. As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.
