Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC. This role involves providing high-quality therapeutic massage treatments, with a focus on client-centered, trauma-informed care and pre- and postpartum support. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing treatment plans, documenting sessions, and collaborating with clients to set goals aligned with their health needs. The therapist will maintain a clean, welcoming treatment environment, manage appointment schedules, and participate in ongoing professional development. The role also includes educating clients on self-care strategies, contributing to clinic initiatives, and fostering a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for all clients.

Qualifications

• Strong therapeutic massage skills, including experience with body massage and stress management techniques.
• Training or experience in Shiatsu and other complementary modalities that support holistic, client-centered care.
• Proven customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate clearly with diverse clients.
• Current registration in good standing as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the relevant provincial college or association.
• Knowledge of pre- and postpartum care, including safe treatment approaches during pregnancy and postpartum recovery, or willingness to develop expertise in this area.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional ethics, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment and contribute to a culture of respect, inclusivity, and ongoing learning.
• CPR/First Aid certification and liability insurance, or eligibility to obtain them before start date.
