Job Title: Service Material Handler 2
Under direct supervision, Building, assembling, and packaging parts while updating/ recording information of parts shipping to external customers.
Performance Expectations
- Able to complete all Service Material Handler 1 tasks
- Able to use computer to update part tracking throughout the facility, reading Bill of Materials (BOMs), and update ERP system with bin locations
- Coordinate work with Materials Coordinator and escalate issues as required
- Tool use including nail guns, circular saw, miter saw, and drills
- Prepare parts for shipment including packaging and loading/unload containers
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to move parts through required production processes
- Complete quality inspection on parts prior to shipment
- Follow priorities set by supervisors and sequence their tasks within a set framework.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location and:
- ISO 14001: Environmental Management system standards
- ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety.
Credentials
- Completion of secondary school.
- Forklift, MEWP, and crane experience

- Ability to work mainly independently and in a team setting requiring cooperation.
- Ability to interact with co-workers and supervisors to exchange information about tasks and to coordinate work.
- Partake in training related to the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), use of cleaning products and equipment.
