Microbulk Field Service Technician (full time)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of Microbulk tanks, telemetry, gas mixers and nitrogen generators.

- In this role, you will install and commission Microbulk tanks, telemetry systems, gas mixers, and nitrogen generators at customer sites, ensuring equipment is set up safely and operates as intended
- You will perform maintenance, repairs, and service activities on both rental equipment and customer-owned assets to support reliability and customer satisfaction
- The role includes completing equipment calibrations and preparing the required permitting and compliance documentation
- You will troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and perform repairs to restore equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Part of your responsibility will be providing technical support and assisting with the diagnosis and resolution of more complex equipment-related challenges
- You will support the maintenance and minor repair of Microbulk tankers, helping ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational
- Managing parts inventory is an important part of the role, including maintaining appropriate stock levels both in the service shop and service vehicle
- The position requires strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to servicing a variety of mechanical, electrical, and gas system equipment
- You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure service requests are addressed efficiently and professionally
- Flexibility is important, as the role includes participation in an on-call operational support rotation to help respond to customer and business needs outside of regular working hours

- You will bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work
- The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently, troubleshoot issues effectively, and interact professionally with customers
- Experience working with gas piping systems and pressure vessels, combined with strong mechanical aptitude and root-cause problem-solving skills, is important for success in the role
- You will be comfortable using technology in the field, including computers, tablets, and smartphones operating on Windows and Android platforms
- A valid Class G driver's licence with a clean driving abstract is required, while a DZ licence, TDG training, WHMIS training, and knowledge of pressure vessel installation regulations are considered strong assets
- Flexibility is important, as the role may require overtime, overnight travel, and participation in field support activities to meet customer and operational needs

This is an existing position with a starting annual salary of $72,000.
