Overview
Do you love making messy processes run smoothly and get a thrill from a perfectly organized tracker? At Linus Media Group, we run some of the most-watched tech channels on YouTube, including Linus Tech Tips, TechLinked, and ShortCircuit, with over 25 million subscribers worldwide. Sponsors are a big part of how we fund that content, and every sponsored video touches sales, writing, production, and the sponsor themselves.
As our Partnerships Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the person who makes sponsored project execution painless for everyone involved. That means keeping deliverables, approvals, and deadlines on track, representing our sponsors on set, getting the right products in the door (and in working order) for our videos, and handling the admin that keeps deals moving after they’re signed. If you’re organized, calm under pressure, and enjoy being the glue between teams, this role might be a great fit for you!
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As Partnerships Operations Coordinator, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Sponsorship Execution
- Acting as the hand-off point between the sales team and our writing and production teams once a sponsorship is sold.
- Collecting sponsor briefs, assets, links, and codes, and turning them into clear talking points and requirements for integrations and sponsored videos.
- Representing the sponsor during filming to make sure their requirements are met on camera.
- Routing sponsor spot scripts and cuts for approval and tracking feedback to sign-off.
- Posting sponsored videos and making sure links, codes, and disclosures are correct at launch.
- Keeping the sponsorship calendar current so everyone knows what’s running, where, and when.
- Preparing post-campaign reports for sponsors, including views, clicks, and other agreed metrics.
Product and Partner Coordination
- Vetting potential partners and products to make sure they’re a good fit for LMG.
- Testing products and services to support sponsorship evaluation.
- Capturing B-roll and L-roll of sponsor products for use in sponsorship assets.
- Reaching out to brands to request products for upcoming videos and following up until they arrive.
- Logging requests, shipments, and returns in our procurement tracker so nothing gets lost.
- Working with our warehouse and writing team to make sure products are on set and in working order before shoot day.
Affiliate Revenue
- Generating and managing affiliate links for our content.
- Tracking and reporting on affiliate conversions and revenue.
Sales Admin
- Replying to inbound emails in our shared partnerships inbox and making sure each one gets an answer.
- Kicking off the invoicing process once deliverables are complete, and tracking invoices through to payment.
- Following up internally on missing or mismatched deal information, such as SOWs, PIFs, accounting details, and review dates.
- Keeping Airtable and our deal records accurate, and flagging anything that looks off, so sales and leadership can report from them.
- Preparing weekly team status and revenue reports.
- Keeping sales collateral, like pitch decks and media kits, up to date.
- Building and improving templates, checklists, and processes that cut back-and-forth.
- Supporting the sales team with scheduling, research, and other tasks as needed.
- Finding efficiencies in our processes and flagging solutions to leadership to implement.
What You Bring
- 1 - 3 years of experience in sales operations, ad operations, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle many deadlines across several teams at once.
- High attention to detail, especially with contracts, invoices, and deliverables.
- Clear, friendly written communication with both internal teams and outside brands.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and shared trackers.
- Comfort working on set and speaking up for a sponsor’s requirements during filming.
- A solution-focused mindset. When something breaks, you fix the process, not just the problem.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for improving processes.
What's Nice to Have
- Experience in a media, agency, or creator-economy environment.
- Familiarity with CRMs, Airtable, Google Workspace, and project management software.
- Experience with sponsorship, influencer, or ad trafficking workflows.
- Basic camera skills for capturing product footage.
- Good knowledge of YouTube and the tech creator community.
- A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
