Original job description

Who We Are

Litco LSO is a Legal Support Organization (LSO) that unites independent law firms by sharing services and business practices across a network of partners. As a first-of-its-kind LSO for North America, we provide the financial, IT, and HR infrastructure that lets our partner firms focus on what they do best: serving their clients.

By joining Litco LSO, you will be part of an incredible team of passionate, purpose-driven people who believe in excellence and focus on doing their best work every day. Our core values guide everything we do and are reflected in how we interact with our partner firms, their clients, our team members, and our community.

Who You Are

  • Have 5+ years of finance systems or ERP experience, including 3+ years administering and configuring Sage Intacct or a comparable cloud ERP in a multi-entity environment
  • Hold a post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Configure ERP functionality hands-on (dimensions, workflows, approval routing, security roles, Smart Rules, Smart Events, and custom fields) rather than relying on consultants
  • Understand core accounting processes, including general ledger, AP, AR, intercompany, consolidation, multi-currency, and period-end close
  • Build advanced reports and dashboards using Sage financial reports, Custom Report Writer, and Interactive Custom Report Writer
  • Analyze data using advanced Excel, SQL, or similar tools
  • Have experience supporting end users, troubleshooting issues, and delivering training and documentation for finance and operational audiences
  • Bring working knowledge of internal controls, segregation of duties, access management, audit support, and change management
  • Communicate clearly, with a customer service mindset, strong documentation habits, and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues during close
  • Can maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
  • Are able to successfully pass a criminal and background record check
  • Sage Intacct System Administrator or other Sage certification, a CPA designation, experience with Power BI or Microsoft Fabric, familiarity with Sage import utilities and APIs, and experience with legal practice management platforms or in a multi-entity organization with an active acquisition strategy are all considered assets

How You’ll Make a Difference

Reporting to the Innovation and Analytics Manager and working closely with our Finance Services team, the Sage Intacct ERP Administrator owns the Sage Intacct experience across our partner firms in Canada and the United States. You’ll keep the platform well configured, optimized, and easy to use, so our Finance and operations teams get the most out of Sage with minimal reliance on outside consultants.

  • Serve as our go-to Sage Intacct expert, configuring and maintaining entities, chart of accounts, dimensions, workflows, security roles, Smart Rules, and custom fields
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and new Sage releases, and deploy changes through controlled change management, from sandbox testing to post-launch verification
  • Simplify the environment by retiring unnecessary customizations and maintaining a prioritized optimization roadmap
  • Set up newly acquired firms in Sage, aligning them with Litco LSO standards
  • Act as the escalation point for Sage user issues, tracing problems to their root cause and providing hands-on support through month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Manage user access and permissions with least privilege and segregation of duties in mind
  • Partner with Finance to streamline and automate accounting workflows and approval routing
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards in Sage that align with our Data and Analytics team’s governed metrics and Power BI reporting
  • Monitor integrations, reconcile failed transactions, and define requirements for new or updated integrations
  • Develop role-based training, user guides, and knowledge articles that help users work confidently and independently
  • Keep thorough configuration documentation and manage our relationship with Sage support and partners
