Original job description

Ready to Help Shape the Future of Legal Tech?!

At Litera, we don’t just build software, we transform how the world’s top law firms operate. Every day, we Raise The Bar™ for what’s possible through AI, innovation, and solutions that power millions of legal professionals worldwide. If you’re energized by scale, real impact, and meaningful challenges, you’ll feel right at home here.

Where You’ll Work

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in our Toronto location with the expectation to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll own the strategy and roadmap for products that are reshaping how legal professionals work every day. You’ll partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to turn market insight and customer feedback into high-impact solutions - from concept through launch and beyond. This is a high-visibility role where your ability to connect business strategy with product execution directly drives revenue growth and competitive advantage. If you’re energized by building at the intersection of AI, legal technology, and enterprise SaaS, this is the place to do it.

What You’ll Deliver

Define and drive the product vision and roadmap, aligning cross-functional teams around a strategy that delivers measurable business outcomes.
Bring products to market by leading go-to-market planning, pricing strategy, and sales enablement in partnership with Marketing and Sales.
Champion the customer by translating deep market insight, client feedback, and competitive intelligence into product decisions that win.
Accelerate revenue growth by identifying new product opportunities and ensuring every release moves the needle on adoption and retention.
Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Design, and Operations, removing obstacles and keeping delivery on track and on time.
Influence at the executive level by communicating product strategy, progress, and results with clarity and conviction to senior leadership and board stakeholders.

Litera is committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process. If you need an accommodation, please let us know and we’ll work with you to meet your needs.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of bringing products to market
Demonstrable familiarity with generative AI and Large Language Model technology
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate market opportunity into actionable product roadmaps
Experience leading cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle
Excellent executive communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders

Nice to Haves:

Experience in the legal technology market or a related professional services industry
Background in security or governance product development
Strong analytical skills with experience making data-driven product decisions
Experience managing product budgets and driving ROI-focused resource allocation

Great candidates don’t check every box. If this role excites you but your experience doesn’t perfectly match every qualification, we encourage you to apply. You may be just the right person for this or another role at Litera.

What You’ll Experience

A team that shows up. Work alongside people who collaborate, support one another, and lead with integrity.
Global Reach. Partner with teams around the world to solve complex challenges that matter.
Real opportunity for growth. Expand your impact through meaningful stretch opportunities, visibility and career development.
AI-driven innovation. Work at the intersection of legal technology, customer outcomes, and cutting-edge AI.

Pay Transparency for Ontario Applicants

The base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 CAD. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to earn commission based on performance. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan with company match, and incentive and recognition programs. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.

Litera is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
