Role Description The Lash Artist role is a part-time, on-site position based at Livod Beauty in Calgary, AB. The Lash Artist will perform lash extension and enhancement services, including consultation, application, maintenance, and removals, in alignment with the studio’s standards for safety, hygiene, and natural-looking results. Day-to-day activities include preparing treatment areas, assessing client needs and preferences, selecting appropriate lash styles, and documenting services provided. The Lash Artist will also educate clients on aftercare, maintain clean and organized workstations, manage bookings and follow-ups, and support a welcoming, professional studio environment. Collaboration with the broader team to uphold brand consistency, service quality, and an elevated client experience is an important part of this role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in lash extension application, lash lifts, and related lash services, with a strong focus on precision and hygiene.
• Client service skills, including consultation, clear communication, and the ability to tailor treatments to individual needs and preferences.
• Attention to detail and aesthetics, with an understanding of facial symmetry, natural enhancement, and current beauty trends.
• Ability to manage appointment scheduling, time management during services, and basic record-keeping for client treatments.
• Relevant certification or training in lash artistry, cosmetology, or esthetics; additional training in permanent makeup or brow services is an asset.
• Commitment to health and safety standards, including sanitation, infection control, and use of professional-grade products and tools.
• Reliability in a part-time, on-site role, with flexibility to work peak client hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Previous experience in a salon or beauty studio environment is preferred, particularly in premium or boutique settings.
