Lodgo is a growing Montréal-based short-term rental company with a team of approximately 60 people. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an HR Specialist who can help us strengthen the systems, processes, and employee experience that support our team.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply maintain existing processes. You’ll have the opportunity to build, improve, and take ownership of them.
What you’ll do
As our HR Specialist, you’ll work closely with leadership and department managers to create a more structured and efficient HR function. You will:
- Take ownership of BambooHR, including employee records, onboarding, time off, performance management, and reporting
- Develop, document, and implement clear and scalable HR processes
- Improve the employee journey, from onboarding through ongoing performance and development
- Train and support managers and employees in using HR tools and processes
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and day-to-day HR matters
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions
- Help ensure HR information and processes remain organized, consistent, and up to date
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- Previous experience in HR, people operations, or a similar people-focused role
- Experience with HRIS platforms; BambooHR experience is a strong asset
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable building structure and processes in a growing environment
- Strong communication skills, discretion, and sound judgment
- High proficiency in English, as you’ll work daily with English-speaking teams, partners, and tools
- French is a strong asset
