We are currently seeking a Class 5 Manitoba Licensed Power Engineer to join our Maintenance team at our manufacturing facility in Steinbach, Manitoba. This role is ideal for a safety-minded, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining equipment and systems at peak performance.

Rotating Shift:

• 12-hour shifts, 4 days on 4 days off 
• 12.5% evening shift premium
• 22% evening weekend premium  

What You'll Do

As a member of the Maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities and systems operate safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining building systems, including:

• • Security and fire protection systems
  • Gas and wood-burning boilers
  • Heat exchangers
  • Humidification systems
  • Water treatment systems, including R.O.D.I. and water softeners
  • HVAC systems

• Maintaining accurate boiler and chemical treatment records
• Troubleshooting and supporting building automation and control systems
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems
• Responding to maintenance-related issues in a timely manner
• Assisting with other maintenance projects and duties as assigned

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Power Engineer Certificate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety and exceptional customer service
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• First Aid Level 2 Certification
