Responsibilities

What your days look like as a Heavy Equipment Operator:

• Efficiently load conveyor and truck of salt and aggregate;
• Load railcars of pipes and different materials;
• Perform general labor tasks including equipment inspections and maintenance;
• Operate snowplows to ensure safe and clear access throughout the terminal;
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the terminal.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Heavy Equipment Operator, you must have:

• Two to three (2-3) years of experience operating a loader with a bucket and forks, preferably; 
• Comparable to a CAT 980;
• Strong ability to perform manual labor and maintain equipment;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols;
• Work in unfavorable weather conditions.
