Original job description

As National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of one of our iconic global food brands in the Canadian market. You will leverage your retailer relationships, commercial acumen, and strategic mindset to strengthen our presence and deliver sustainable results.

Drive brand growth by leveraging strong relationships with selection of key major retailers.
Lead customer negotiations by using market insights (consumer trends, competitive landscape, and category dynamics) to shape actionable strategies.
Collaborate closely with Canadian partners to build a sustainable, long-term brand presence.
Take full ownership of customer P&L, manage budgets and performance across key retailers (Distribution, Price, Promotion, and QPOD) and overseeing all trade spend;
Build compelling trade decks and confidently present to senior retail buyers.
Monitor performance and conduct deep-dive analytics to uncover growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions;
Support demand planning accuracy through forecast updates and performance tracking;
Define optimal product pricing based on pricing guidelines, value chain analysis, creation and competitive set;
Analyse assortment opportunities and develop internal business case for potential new product launches.
Influence key accounts and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across cross functional teams to deliver high quality, customer centric outcomes in a fast paced environment.
Report directly to the Head of Sales Canada.

You hold a universitary degree in business, economics, sales, marketing,..
Mid-level CPG sales professional with 5+ years experience in CPG/FMCG sales, with strong retailer relationship-building experience in the Canadian market and strong knowledge about Canadian retailer landscape.Strong negotiation and influencing skills, particularly with senior retail buyers.
Proven relationship builder with strong networking skills in Canadian retail.
Result driven and strong analytical capabilities & follow up
Comfortable collaborating with European headquarters and aligning global strategies to local market realities.
You’re eager to travel within Canada whenever required for your account meetings
Ideally you have experience and affinity within the food industry.
Excellent communication and active listening skills
Innovative, solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You can speak & write fluently in English. French is a plus.
