Role Description: The Manufacturing & Production Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This role supports production activities, including measuring, blending, packaging, and labeling Ayurvedic herbs and spice products according to established standards. The assistant helps maintain a clean and organized production area, follows safety and food handling protocols, and monitors products for consistency and quality. Responsibilities also include assisting with inventory counts, restocking materials, and preparing orders for shipment. The role may involve occasional interaction with customers or partners, providing product information and ensuring a positive, service-oriented experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Production Assistance, including handling materials, operating basic equipment, and following standardized procedures.
• Experience with Quality Control practices such as inspecting products, following safety and hygiene standards, and documenting process issues.
• Strong Teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and support colleagues in a busy production environment.
• Attention to detail and basic checking skills for labels, packaging information, and product documentation.
• Comfort working on-site in a manufacturing or food production setting; ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
• Knowledge of or interest in Ayurvedic herbs, spices, wellness, or sustainable food systems is an asset.
• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar operational role is preferred but not required
