About The Opportunity
An excellent client of ours, a well-renowned organization headquartered in Ottawa, is seeking a Manager, IT & Cybersecurity Services to oversee our daily technology operations, cloud and on-premises environments, and cybersecurity program. Reporting to the IT Director, you will bridge strategic vision with operational execution - leading an IT team, managing service delivery, and driving modern tech initiatives.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Team & Service Operations: Lead the IT team and Service Desk operations to ensure high service availability, clear goal-setting, and continuous staff development
- Cybersecurity & Governance: Maintain and evolve the corporate cybersecurity program, leveraging frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero-Trust architecture
- Infrastructure & Change Management: Oversee hybrid cloud/on-prem environments and manage ITIL Change Management processes for system reliability
- Strategy & Innovation: Provide guidance on Enterprise Architecture, SDLC practices, and the safe implementation of emerging AI technologies
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience: 4+ years in IT leadership, managing technical staff, Service Desk operations, and cybersecurity programs
- Technical Expertise: Extensive technical background in the entire Microsoft 365 stack (SharePoint, Teams, Purview, etc.), network architecture, cloud infrastructure, SDLC, and modern IT security standards
- Vendor Leadership: Demonstrated track record managing external MSPs and vendor relationships
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
- Soft Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; strong stakeholder management
About the Job
Salary is commensurate of experience, $100,000 to $130,000, and is in addition to a government pension program, a generous PTO and benefits package, etc.

- Clearance: Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance required
