About The Opportunity
LRO is currently working with a professional organization to staff a 6-month contract for a Translation Coordinator/Translator. They are looking for an experienced Translator that can translate, review and edit documents from English to French and French to English while being aware of specific terminology and collaborating with colleagues. This opportunity requires an individual who is available to start as soon as possible.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Translate documents from English to French and French to English following set standards
- Revise and correct documents
- Work collaboratively with employees in other sections
- Other duties as required
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Advanced understanding of style format, syntax grammar and punctuation in both English and French
- Ability to analyze and evaluate source material in order to accurately reflect content and meaning
About The Job
The hourly pay for this opportunity ranges between $32.00 to $40.00 per hour. Our client is located central south end of Ottawa with free parking. They offer a hybrid work arrangement that would see the successful candidate on site 2-3 days per week.
