Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based in Markham, ON. The Front Desk Receptionist will greet clients, manage check-in and check-out procedures, and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. Daily responsibilities include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, booking and confirming appointments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate client records. The role also involves performing basic clerical duties such as filing, managing schedules, handling emails, and supporting spa staff with front-of-house coordination. The receptionist will uphold spa policies, maintain a tidy reception area, and provide professional, courteous customer service at all times.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients and team members.
Basic conversational proficiency in MANDARIN CHINESE is required.
Proficiency in receptionist duties, including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling front desk operations.
Solid phone etiquette skills, including managing incoming calls, directing inquiries, and providing clear information.
Clerical skills such as data entry, filing, scheduling, and basic administrative support.
Comfort using appointment booking systems and point-of-sale software.
Ability to stay organized, multitask, and manage a steady flow of clients in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a spa, salon, hospitality, or customer-facing role is an asset.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or hospitality is beneficial.
Reliability, punctuality, and a professional appearance consistent with spa standards.
