Customer Growth & Experience Coordinator

This is an entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career across sales, customer experience, operations, and the renewable energy industry.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in joining LUMI and building their knowledge of the renewable energy and home-services industries, specifically solar and roofing.

As LUMI continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and develop into a larger position within the company.

About the Role

The Customer Growth & Experience Coordinator will be one of the first points of contact for new customers and will play an important role throughout the customer journey.

A major part of this role is responding quickly to new inbound leads, speaking with prospective customers, understanding their needs, and booking consultations for our sales team.

You'll also help keep customers moving through the process by coordinating appointments, providing updates, following up on outstanding items, and making sure customers feel taken care of from their first conversation through project completion.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people, is highly organized, takes initiative, and wants exposure to sales, customer experience, operations, and a rapidly growing industry.

What You'll Do

Call new inbound leads quickly during business hours, with a target response time of within 5 minutes.
Speak with prospective customers, understand their needs, and qualify opportunities.
Book qualified customers into solar consultations and site assessments.
Make outbound calls to existing leads and contacts to reconnect, follow up, and book consultations.
Follow up consistently with leads who have not yet booked.
Guide customers through the different stages of their solar journey.
Keep customers informed and help coordinate next steps.
Answer general customer questions and direct technical or specialized questions to the appropriate team member.
Coordinate scheduling between customers, sales, operations, and installation teams.
Follow up with customers after installation and request reviews from satisfied customers.
Maintain accurate customer information, notes, follow-ups, and activities within our CRM.
Ensure leads and customers do not fall through the cracks.
Support the team with additional customer experience, sales, and operational responsibilities as the role develops.

What We're Looking For

A recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build their career.
Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking with customers over the phone.
Someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and building relationships.
A strong sense of urgency and willingness to respond quickly to new opportunities.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple follow-ups at once.
Comfortable making both inbound and outbound calls.
Positive, professional, and genuinely helpful.
Comfortable learning new software, CRMs, and internal systems.
Able to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.
Interested in renewable energy, solar, roofing, home services, or growing businesses.
Able to work in person from our Calgary office.

Experience in customer service, inside sales, business development, scheduling, hospitality, retail, reception, solar, roofing, or home services is an asset, but not required.

We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, communication skills, work ethic, and desire to grow.

New leads are contacted quickly.
Qualified leads are consistently booked into consultations.
Follow-ups are completed on time.
Customers know what is happening and what comes next.
CRM records are accurate and up to date.
