Chemical Engineer – Process Modeling
We are seeking a Chemical Engineer with demonstrated expertise in Aspen Plus to lead chemical process modeling for a state-of-the-art, next-generation industrial facility. This role will be responsible for developing sophisticated process models that support the design, optimization, and scale-up of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced chemical process modeling using Aspen Plus
- Develop models for chemical and/or metallurgical processes
- Build custom physical property datasets and electrolyte models
- Model processes involving solids in vapor-solid and liquid-solid reaction environments
- Integrate Aspen Plus models with external tools such as Excel
- Provide modeling insights that directly inform facility design and process development
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Required: Demonstrated hands-on Aspen Plus model development experience
- Strong background in chemical process simulation and modeling
