About The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and adaptable Rostering Coordinator to support safe, high-quality care through efficient workforce rostering across our facilities. You will coordinate rosters to maintain appropriate staffing levels, skill mix and coverage within our Hotel Services and Residential Aged Care teams, while supporting the broader rostering function as priorities change.

Working with Facility and Service Managers, Payroll, People & Culture, Return to Work teams and other key stakeholders, you will manage leave coverage, support workforce planning, maintain accurate and compliant data, and contribute to cost-effective rostering and process improvements.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and adaptable team player who builds strong working relationships across the organisation and flexes their approach in response to changing operational needs. They will work proactively with stakeholders to maintain seamless service delivery, achieve operational objectives and support positive employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and maintain rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels, skill mix and compliance requirements are met.
Manage roster changes, leave coverage and vacant shifts to support continuity of service.
Work closely with leaders to deliver efficient, responsive and cost-effective rostering solutions.
Monitor workforce utilisation, overtime and agency usage to support workforce planning and cost control.
Maintain accurate rostering and payroll data and assist with employee queries.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve rostering processes and efficiency.

What You Will Need

Previous rostering or workforce coordination experience, ideally in aged care, healthcare or a similar environment.
Experience using rostering systems, preferably Humanforce, along with strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of awards, enterprise agreements and workforce planning principles.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, service-focused approach.
Relevant administration qualifications or equivalent experience will be highly regarded.

Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and must hold a current NDIS Worker Clearance. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
