  • Strong experience with strategic sourcing and competitive bid processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and other RFx activities
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating supplier proposals and developing commercial recommendations
  • Strong contract and commercial negotiation skills
  • Experience managing purchase orders from initial requisition through changes, delivery, issue resolution, and closeout
  • Understanding of supplier risk, cost management, and procurement best practices
  • Experience working with enterprise procurement, ERP, supplier management, and spend-analysis systems
  • Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen
  • Ability to work effectively with project, technical, operational, commercial, and supply chain stakeholders
  • Comfortable managing multiple procurement packages and changing priorities in a project-driven environment
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing and procurement activities for materials and services required to support major capital projects
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies based on project requirements, timelines, commercial considerations, and supply risks

  • Coordinate with suppliers to support on-time delivery and address commercial or supply-related issues
  • Monitor supplier performance across areas such as delivery, quality, cost, and service
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, commercial improvements, and increased procurement efficiency
  • Maintain appropriate procurement documentation, records, reporting, and sourcing files
  • Track procurement performance and contribute to supply chain reporting and continuous improvement activities
  • Support project schedules by ensuring required materials and services are sourced and delivered in accordance with project needs
