Original job description
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a business analyst
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience documenting/conducting process analysis and re-engineering
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience writing requirements, use cases and user stories
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in working on projects in agile environment
- Must possess strong political acumen
- Must possess strong critical thinking skills
- Most possess high level of communications, consulting, and client relationship skills. The Analyst must be able to clearly communicate complex technical and business concepts, both to clients (internal or external) and to team members, and to negotiate change
- Must be capable of effectively identifying and framing problems, leading the collection of elements of information, and integrating this information to produce timely and thoughtful decisions
Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
- Accreditation from IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the Business Analysis Book of Knowledge (BABOK) is considered an asset

Responsibilities
Analyze and re-engineer business processes, and document requirements, use cases, and user stories for projects in an agile environment. Identify and frame problems, gather and integrate information, communicate complex business and technical concepts, and support timely decisions and change negotiations.
Requirements
Requires at least 10 years of business analyst experience, including at least five years each in process analysis and re-engineering, requirements documentation, and agile projects. Candidates must demonstrate strong political acumen, critical thinking, communication, consulting, and client relationship skills; IIBA accreditation and BABOK knowledge are preferred assets.
