Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Functional Analyst with a strong focus on testing within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing functional specifications, developing test strategies and test cases, coordinating end-to-end testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze functional specifications and translate business requirements into test requirements.
  • Develop test strategies, test plans, scenarios, and test cases for Guidewire projects.
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing activities with development and functional teams.
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Track, document, and manage defects using Jira.
  • Document test results, defects, and testing progress.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams to validate fixes and ensure quality delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on testing experience with Guidewire projects.
  • Strong experience in test planning, test strategy, test case development, and defect management.
  • Experience analyzing functional specifications and defining test requirements.
  • Experience coordinating testing activities and supporting UAT.
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence in an Agile environment.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Guidewire PolicyCenter experience.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience.
  • Guidewire Cloud or cloud migration experience.
  • Experience with BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
  • Exposure to test automation.
