- Minimum of six 7 years of experience developing new application solutions, maintaining existing applications, and providing ongoing production support
- Minimum of Five (5) years experience as a PowerBuilder Developer

Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
- Experience programming in .NET
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Experience working with databases and associated tools in Microsoft Azure
- Experience converting Sybase to SQL Server
- Experience with additional programming languages
- Knowledge of web development technologies
- Knowledge of cloud-based services (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Strong experience with SQL development.
- Experience working in large enterprise environment.
- 5+ years of experience with client-server business application development.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proven consulting experience as a developer.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented development or design.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server stored procedures.
- Familiarity in migrating PowerBuilder applications.
- Experience in PowerBuilder/MSSQL application enhancements, file transfers and creating interfaces to other systems.
- Familiarity with design patterns
- Knowledge of database design

Responsibilities
Develop new application solutions, maintain and enhance existing PowerBuilder applications, and provide ongoing production support. Design and develop relational databases and stored procedures, administer SQL Server databases, and support interfaces and file transfers between systems.
Requirements
Requires at least seven years of application development, maintenance, and production support experience, including five years as a PowerBuilder developer and experience with SQL Server, relational databases, and stored procedures. Candidates should also demonstrate strong analytical, communication, security-conscious, and teamwork skills; experience with .NET, Azure, Power BI, migrations, and Agile is preferred.
