- The client is looking for a senior DevOps profile who builds the delivery tooling around database and backup services, rather than an expert in those services themselves. The distinctive axis of the mandate is cross-platform orchestration: moving a change from GitHub to ServiceNow, Jira and Azure DevOps through approval and governance workflows, using REST APIs and webhooks.
- GitHub Actions is the only tool required at an "advanced expertise" level, making it the first technical filter. The mandate title (DevOps) and the introductory paragraph (backend) contradict each other; the DevOps reading is retained based on the full set of responsibilities and requirements.
- Target candidate: a DevOps developer-analyst who has designed and maintained GitHub Actions pipelines used by multiple teams, and who has connected those pipelines to the organization's change management processes (ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps). They write their automation in Python, TypeScript or Shell, structure configuration in Ansible, and have worked in an organization where a deployment crosses several teams and approval bodies.
Required:
- Experience in DevOps and process automation, focused on operational efficiency and continuous delivery
- Advanced expertise in GitHub Actions: design, optimization and maintenance of complex organization-wide CI/CD pipelines
- Integrations between enterprise platforms and services (GitHub, Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, REST APIs, webhooks, other external systems)
- Design and automation of enterprise workflows (change, approval, deployment, governance)
- Automation development (Python, TypeScript, Shell, other relevant languages)
- Design of service orchestration, data exchange and cross-system automation solutions
- Configuration as Code, particularly Ansible, with idempotency, reusability and maintainability principles
- Knowledge of IaC principles and associated tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Work in complex environments (multiple teams, platforms and organizational processes)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI)
- Excellent command of French, spoken and written

Requirements

They should be proficient in an automation language such as Python, TypeScript, or Shell; know Ansible and IaC principles; and be comfortable with complex multi-team environments, containers, and cloud platforms. Excellent spoken and written French is required.
