Mandate Overview:
- The client is looking for a senior data analyst within the
delivery team of the GPAP modernization project in Wealth Management. The role
spans three fronts: understanding and enhancing source system data, supporting
quality assurance, and supporting design work with the architects. This person
documents the rules to apply, profiles data, participates in ETL work and
supports the developer in configuring the data mart, without owning core
development or model design. The requirements point to a profile bridging
functional and technical work: functional specifications, data modeling, ETL,
Azure storage and Power BI. QA and data governance tasks appear in the
responsibilities but are not listed among the requirements.
- Candidate sought: a senior data analyst who has
written functional specifications on large-scale data projects and has taken
part in ETL and data modeling work in an Azure environment (Data Factory, Data
Lake, Synapse or Azure SQL). This person works daily with architects,
developers, POs and business experts, and knows Power BI beyond report creation
(Service, gateway).
Requirements
Required:

- Power BI (Desktop, Service and components, e.g. gateway)
Profiles to Exclude:
- Profile whose data experience is limited to building Power
BI reports and dashboards, with no data modeling or ETL work on the resume.
- Data engineer or ETL developer profile with no demonstrated
functional specification writing.
- Business analyst profile with no data modeling or ETL work
tied to projects.
- Profile with no Azure storage or integration component named
on the resume (data experience exclusively on other platforms).
