The professional being replaced has held a testing-focused role at the client since 2022, on the Cloud migration, the billing and collection tool (BillingCenter) and broker-facing projects. He translates specifications into test requirements, builds test strategies, coordinates end-to-end testing and tracks defects in Jira. The CM's answer, analysis, documentation and testing, points the same way. This framing therefore puts testing at the centre of the functional analyst role.
Candidate sought : Someone who has designed and led testing on Guidewire projects, starting from functional specification analysis. Experience coordinating tests with development teams and supporting acceptance testing sets them apart from an execution-only profile.
Key Requirements:
- Testing on Guidewire (strategy, plans and cases, execution,
defect tracking)
- Analysis of functional specifications and translation into
test requirements
- Test and results documentation
Requirements
PREFERRED
- PolicyCenter experience
- P&C insurance
- Test coordination and acceptance testing support
- Jira and Confluence in an Agile context
ASSET
- Guidewire Cloud or Cloud migration
- Test automation
- Experience on other XCenters (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
Profiles to Exclude:
- Tester limited to executing cases written by
others, with no specification analysis.
- QA profile with no Guidewire project on the
resume.
- Functional analyst with no demonstrated
involvement in testing.
