Original job description
This position replaces a functional analyst currently in place, with no knowledge transfer planned. The CM confirms the replacement takes over the functional analyst role as is. The three named activities are analysis, documentation and testing. The main module is PolicyCenter on Guidewire Cloud. With no overlap, someone already productive on PolicyCenter reduces start-up risk.
Candidate sought : A functional analyst with PolicyCenter deliverables on the resume (specifications, functional documentation) who has also prepared or executed tests. P&C insurance and Guidewire Cloud are the two tie-breakers.

practice (Scrum, Jira, Confluence)
ASSET
- Guidewire certification (ACE or Associate)
- Knowledge of Gosu or Java
Profiles to Exclude:
- Profile mentioning Guidewire with no specification or
functional documentation produced on the resume.
- Guidewire experience limited to ClaimCenter or
BillingCenter, with no PolicyCenter project.
- Process-centred business analysis with no work on an
insurance software package.

Responsibilities
The functional analyst will be responsible for performing analysis, creating functional documentation, and managing testing activities. This includes preparing and executing tests as well as tracking defects within the Guidewire PolicyCenter environment.
Requirements
Candidates must have proven experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter deliverables and functional documentation. Preferred qualifications include experience in P&C insurance, Guidewire Cloud, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
