Original job description

Mandate Overview:

The client is looking for a senior developer whose main field is Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with command of the CI/CD chain. The role covers the full cycle: requirements analysis, design, coding with automated tests, installation, integration of technical components and issue resolution. Two responsibilities define the position: reading CRM and Power Platform logs and traces to detect anomalies, and managing Dynamics and Power Platform deployments across environments, including rollback. The description also uses the standard Desjardins "advisor" wording (needs analysis, recommendations, work planning), which calls for analytical autonomy without turning the role into an architect or analyst position. The named best practices (clean architecture, clean code, design patterns) help differentiate comparable senior profiles.
Target candidate: a Dynamics CRM developer with at least 5 years of experience who codes extensions, writes automated tests and manages the release of their own solutions across environments. Their resume shows Dynamics or Power Platform deployments through a CI/CD pipeline, with version tracking and rollback capability, on agile projects.

Requirements

Required:

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM (development, configuration, log and trace interpretation)
In-depth CI/CD knowledge, deployment management across environments (versions, dependencies, configurations, connection references, validations, rollback)
Power Platform (log and trace troubleshooting, solution deployment)
Software development best practices (clean architecture, clean code, design patterns)
Development with automated tests
Experience on agile development projects

Desired:

Experience with cloud concepts

Profiles to Exclude:

Profile mentioning Dynamics 365 functional configuration (forms, views, business process flows) without demonstrated code development.
Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or AX profile without a demonstrated Dynamics CRM (Customer Engagement) project.
Power Apps or Power Automate profile without a demonstrated Dynamics CRM project.
DevOps or CI/CD profile without demonstrated Dynamics application development.
Profile mentioning Dynamics deployments without demonstrated version, environment or rollback management.
