Job Description:
The client is seeking a Technical Lead who combines engineering leadership, a consultative role, and concrete technical contributions to the delivery of medium to large-scale .NET systems. The technological foundation (VB.NET and C#.NET, WCF, SOAP services, REST APIs) indicates an environment of legacy applications undergoing maintenance and modernization, not a context of new development. The emphasis on cloud computing, CI/CD, and best practices (clean architecture, clean code, design patterns) reflects a mandate to increase the engineering maturity of the teams. The ideal candidate will influence technological directions, assist the client in defining requirements, and coordinate operational delivery activities. This role remains firmly rooted in the technical aspects: it is neither an architect detached from the code nor a project manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accompany and guide the client in analyzing and defining
their needs, providing guidance, and selecting and evaluating appropriate
technological solutions.
- Conduct and participate in studies, as well as in the
positioning, feasibility, and detailed design phases, and make appropriate
technological recommendations.
- Develop, implement, and apply conceptual and logical models,
as well as design, implementation, and integration strategies.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment with the bodies and
committees involved in the projects and provide the necessary support and
follow-up.
- Coordinate the operational activities required to ensure the
quality, performance, reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of
the systems and technological solutions.
Requirements
Requisites:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience
- .NET and DevOps ecosystem (VB.NET, C#.NET, Git, SQL, RESTful
APIs, SOAP, WCF, CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
- Technical leadership and advisory role (influencing
direction, supporting the client)
- Mastery of cloud tools and their impact on development teams
- Experience in continuous integration, delivery, and
deployment
- Application of engineering best practices (clean
architecture, clean code, design patterns)
Desired:
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical
concepts
- Organization, rigor, prioritization, and anticipation of
roadblocks
Asset:
- Experience in the financial, banking, or a comparable
institution sector
