MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our medical supplies & equipment client to find a first-class Director, Consumer Sales and Solutions to join their team in Ottawa or Mississauga. The primary responsibility of this role will be to establish the vision, strategy, and commercial execution to drive revenue growth, operational performance, and profitability across retail stores, mobility sales, and customer conversion/retention channels.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:

Develop and execute a unified consumer sales strategy to accelerate market share growth, customer lifetime value, and profitability across multi-location retail and mobility channels.
Oversee full financial performance ($120k–$125k salary range), setting targets, managing budgets, and leveraging data analytics to optimize margins, attachment sales, and conversion rates.
Provide strategic and operational leadership across physical retail locations, supporting store managers in driving productivity, merchandising, customer satisfaction, and health and safety compliance.
Expand the mobility sales portfolio by establishing pipeline expectations for sales consultants and strengthening referral networks with healthcare professionals, funders, and community partners.
Lead, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary team - including retail managers, category leads, mobility consultants, and retention specialists - to foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture.

You should have the following in your background to apply:

7+ years of progressive leadership experience in consumer sales, multi-location retail, mobility, home medical equipment, or healthcare products.
Proven track record leading multi-channel business growth, managing full P&L accountability, and driving customer conversion and retention strategies.
Strong financial, commercial, and analytical acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, commerce, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related discipline.
Experience in home medical equipment/mobility sales, leading organizational change, or French bilingualism are all considered strong assets.

Salary range: $120k-$125k + bonus
