Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our cybersecurity and DNS solutions client to find a first-class Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to serve as the senior technical advisor for XDR and cybersecurity products, leading technical engagements across the customer lifecycle from pre-sales discovery through solution architecture, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:

• Partner with sales teams on discovery calls, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and RFP responses, focusing on XDR and cybersecurity solutions.
• Translate client business and technical needs into scalable solution architectures, Statements of Work (SOWs), and practical implementation plans.
• Configure and maintain customer demo environments, guiding technical stakeholders through onboarding, setup, and solution alignment.
• Act as the senior technical subject matter expert for XDR and endpoint security products, troubleshooting complex technical issues and supporting implementation teams.
• Design and deliver technical workshops, customer training sessions, deployment guides, and reports to validate service value and product adoption.

You should have the following in your background to apply:

• 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture role within the cybersecurity industry.
• Deep technical expertise in XDR, endpoint security, and deploying/troubleshooting workstations across Linux, Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems.
• Proven track record in lead pre-sales engagements, crafting technical statements of work, and managing RFP response processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Advanced expertise in enterprise IT environments, DNS, networking, firewalls, or scripting, with French bilingualism considered a strong asset.
