About Us
Mendieta ACS is a family-owned HVAC company based in Coquitlam, serving residential and commercial clients across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. We handle every project from design to execution, we're authorized dealers for leading brands like Mitsubishi, Lennox and Gree, and our customers rate us 4.9 stars on Google. Our vision is to be recognized as the #1 HVAC company in British Columbia for customer service and technical expertise, guided by our values of Respect, Honesty and Resilience. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us, bring fresh ideas, and build our brand's online presence.
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, self-driven Marketing & Content Coordinator to help grow our social media presence and run our customer campaigns. This is a part-time, hybrid role (20–25 hours/week, flexible 4-hour shifts) and a great fit for students. You'll work directly with our leadership team, starting from a blank canvas, with a clear path to full-time and Marketing Manager based on results. Pay is $22–$30/hour, depending on experience.|
Key Responsibilities
- Content creation: Write short-form video scripts, film our team member on camera (you'll be behind the camera, not in front), and edit 3–5 videos per week.
- Social media management: Publish content on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, maintain a content calendar, and respond to comments and DMs.
- Marketing performance review: Review monthly marketing performance and metrics, flag what's working and what isn't, and support ad scripts and creative ideas. (This role does not run or manage paid ad campaigns.)
- Email and SMS campaigns: Plan, write and send campaigns in Mailchimp for seasonal promotions, maintenance reminders, membership plans and customer re-engagement.
- Reporting: Track results (reach, engagement, leads, campaign performance) and share a simple monthly report with recommendations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Skills: Short-form video editing (CapCut or similar), strong writing, and a good eye for what performs on TikTok and Instagram.
- Tools: Comfortable with CapCut, TikTok/Instagram apps, Google Drive and Mailchimp (or willing to learn).
- Organization: Able to manage a weekly content schedule and work independently.
- Driver's license: Valid BC driver's license required (filming happens at job sites around the Lower Mainland).
- No HVAC or trades experience needed. We'll teach you the industry.
- Bonus: You already create short-form content on your own TikTok or Instagram account. Please include a link in your application.
