Commercial Sales Manager

Posting date: October 6, 2026

Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)

We’re looking for a Sales Manager who leads from the front - someone who turns a room of Commercial Account Executives (both junior & senior) into a pipeline-crushing unit, and who’s building a sales culture rooted in accountability, trust, and relentless follow-through.

At MainMicro, we empower IT leaders with expert advice and scalable solutions - backed by direct partnerships with Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and the industry’s top manufacturers. We are not a middleman. We are strategic allies, working across the US and Canada to solve complex infrastructure challenges with quiet confidence and measurable results.

Compensation

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $115,000–$140,000 CAD (base salary + performance bonus tied to team quota attainment)
  • Final offer based on experience and track record leading a quota-carrying sales team

What You'll Own

This is a people-first leadership role built for someone who turns talent into results. You won’t carry a personal quota - your quota is the team’s. You own coaching, pipeline discipline, and the day-to-day leadership that turns individual reps into a high-performing commercial sales unit.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives turning activity into consistent, predictable results
  • Own team quota attainment - forecasting, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy sessions that keep every rep accountable to their number
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ramp up of new Account Executives, building a bench that’s always one deep
  • Run weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and call coaching sessions that sharpen skills and close gaps before they cost a deal
  • Manage partnerships with manufacturer reps and channel partners (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and others) to equip your team with the relationships and resources they need to win
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on territory design, compensation structure, and go-to-market strategy
  • Use Salesforce as your CRM - tracking team performance, surfacing risk, and driving data-backed decisions

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years leading a B2B sales team, ideally in IT solutions, hardware, or technology services
  • A proven track record of hitting team quota - not just carrying your own
  • Hands-on coaching instinct - you’d rather be in the trenches with your reps than behind a dashboard
  • Experience hiring and ramping sales talent, with an eye for who can actually sell
  • Comfortable managing a team selling across both US and Canadian markets
  • Proficient in Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • Knowledge of Dell, HP, Lenovo, or Cisco product lines
  • Fluent in English; working French is an asset given the Montreal base

What You Get

  • RRSP - 5% MATCH: We match your RRSP contributions up to 5% of your base salary. Invest in your future and we’ll invest alongside you.
  • HEALTH & WELLNESS: Comprehensive health and dental coverage for you and your family. Annual gym reimbursement - memberships, classes, or approved wellness expenses.
  • TIME OFF: 20 days PTO plus all US and Canadian statutory holidays - both markets observed.
  • GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT: Annual L&D budget for courses, certifications, or training you choose - not a catalogue. Mentorship and career development built into your onboarding. One paid volunteer day each year.
