Internal position title: Commercial Account Executive III
Posting date: September 16th, 2026
Location: Canada & USA
We're looking for a Senior Commercial Account Executive III - someone whose name already carries weight in this industry, who closes because people trust their word, and who's ready to bring their book of business into a territory built to grow on their terms. Uncapped commission. Full autonomy.
At MainMicro, we empower IT leaders with expert advice and scalable solutions - backed by direct partnerships with Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and the industry's top manufacturers. We are not a middleman. We are strategic allies, working across the US and Canada to solve complex infrastructure challenges with quiet confidence and measurable results.
COMPENSATION
- Base salary: $60,000–$80,000 CAD (based on experience)
- Commission: Uncapped beyond that
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
This is a full-cycle enterprise sales role across mid-to-large US accounts, built for someone who walks in with a book of business and the industry credibility to activate it fast. You own the pipeline - from day-one relationships to strategic outbound to close.
- Drive the full sales cycle - prospecting, qualification, solution design, negotiation, and close - across a portfolio of mid-to-large enterprise accounts in the US
- Build and maintain a forward-looking pipeline through strategic outbound (calls, email, LinkedIn) and relationship-driven referral activity
- Develop genuine partnerships with IT directors, procurement leads, and C-suite decision-makers - understanding their infrastructure priorities before they ask
- Collaborate with manufacturer reps and channel partners (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and others) to design competitive, high-value solutions
- Use Salesforce as a strategic tool, not just a reporting obligation
WHAT YOU BRING
- An existing book of business and established relationships in IT procurement or infrastructure - this is the role's core requirement, not a nice-to-have
- 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience in IT solutions, hardware, or technology services, with real standing in the industry
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first contact to close
- Hunter mentality - self-directed, persistent prospector who builds and expands their own book without waiting for inbound
- Comfortable selling across the US market - understands buyer behaviour across different states and sectors
- Proficient in Salesforce or equivalent CRM - uses data to manage territory, not just to report
- Knowledge of Dell, HP, Lenovo, or Cisco product lines - or the drive to master them fast
- Fluent in English; working French is an asset for internal collaboration
WHAT YOU GET
- RRSP - 5% MATCH: We match your RRSP contributions up to 5% of your base salary. Invest in your future and we'll invest alongside you.
- HEALTH & WELLNESS: Comprehensive health and dental coverage for you and your family. Annual gym reimbursement - memberships, classes, or approved wellness expenses.
- TIME OFF: 20 days PTO plus all US and Canadian statutory holidays - both markets observed.
- GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT: Annual L&D budget for courses, certifications, or training you choose - not a catalogue. Mentorship and career development built into your onboarding. One paid volunteer day each year.
